SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic–This country’s Credit Union Association and Credit Corporations, ABANCORD, hosted a meeting on "Corporate Governance: the new role of the board of directors," at the Sheraton Hotel here.
ABANCORD Chairman Alan Muñoz gave the keynote and thanked those “who’ve graciously agreed to share their experiences and knowledge in a transcendental moment for the future of the institutions we represent.”
Muñoz noted that the 2014´s workshop, themed "Corporate Governance: from theory to practice in Latin America, kicked off what has become a series of collaborative annual events related to the training of the directors of the financial entities.
