Ireland's CU Do Well In Survey of Brands

DUBLIN, Ireland–A survey by Amarach Research for CEXI.org of Irish brands showed that credit unions were the favorite for customer/member experience. In a statement, EXI Director Inga Ryan said that its success was down to the ethos and culture of credit unions.

Second place in the survey went to the National Concert Hall and third to Dublin Zoo. The top 1- was rounded out by Aldi, Boots, Butlers Chocolate, Rabobank, An Post, Penneys, Hailo and Lloyds Pharmacy.

Gerard O’Neill of Amárach Research said that the retail brands’ strong performances was interesting because “if the survey was focused solely on price this wouldn’t be a surprise. but they scored well across several customer experience categories including quality of service and empathy.”

While credit unions did well, businesses banking and the financial sector gained poor results in the survey.
