ST. CHARLES, Mo.–1st Financial FCU here is relocating a branch. Ground has been broken on the new branch, which features a “branded environment inspired by the 1st Financial member base and their heritage in the St. Charles community.”
The design is focused on highlighting the enhanced member service which features teller pods, for an improved retail experience, and a new member lounge that includes a coffee-refreshment bar, according to La Macchia Group, which is overseeing the project. A welcome reception greets members as they enter the space, adding a personal experience the moment a member steps through the doors.
“The drive-thru, located behind the teller pods, is designed to alleviate noise and provide greater operational efficiency,” La Macchia Group said. “Several hoteling offices with glass sliding doors will allow for more natural light to enter the main lobby, while providing the necessary acoustic privacy needed in a financial institution. The color palette of the space will feature an array of brand-centric colors and a tasteful mix of dark and light wood tones that provide a relaxing atmosphere within the interior. Custom vinyl wall graphics will be used strategically throughout the space to reflect the 1st Financial logo and the credit union's deep-rooted connection to the St. Charles community - which spans nearly 50 years.”
