CINCINNATI–Cooperative Business Services, LLC (CBS) said that Fairmont Federal Credit Union and The United Federal Credit Union have selected its business loan origination platform, expanding its business lending footprint in the West Virginia market.
This alliance now includes six West Virginia credit unions and one Athens, Ohio credit union that are dedicated to improving local economies by providing affordable business financing to business owners, the company said.
“Fairmont Federal Credit Union is very excited to join the CBS team because the partnerships they have created will allow us to greatly enhance our ability to provide a higher level of funding that will more fully support the continued growth and prosperity our region of the state has developed,” said Butch Osborne, Fairmont Federal Credit Union’s CEO.
The credit unions involved in this business development arrangement are: Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union, Ohio University Credit Union, Peoples Federal Credit Union, West Virginia Central Credit Union, and West Virginia Federal Credit Union.
Founded in 2003, Cooperative Business Services provides business lending services to 82 credit unions across 10 states with an aggregate asset size of over $16 billion.
