OLYMPIA, Wash.–QCash Financial has announced partnerships with four new credit unions for its solution offering fast and efficient access to short-term, small-dollar loans.
Selecting QCash were Park View FCU in Harrisonburg, Va., SAFE Credit Union in Sumter, S.C., Credit Union of Texas in Allen, and Jefferson Financial FCU in Metarie, La.
QCash said its technology facilitates life event, specialty, and emergency response lending that uses relational data rather than credit score or credit report for underwriting and provides small dollar loan funding in under 60 seconds.
What Credit Unions are Saying
Offering insights into why they selected the solutions, the credit unions stated:
- “Park View is excited about our partnership with QCash,” said President and CEO John Beiler. “Their lending platform will give us the ability to offer an Express loan based on a member’s relationship rather than relying on their credit score history.”
The credit union said an Express loan from Park View is a great way to get a little extra cash for college, groceries, or an emergency car repair. Additionally, it can help build or repair credit and is a smart, responsible alternative to high-interest loans.
- “The opportunity to introduce a better alternative digital lending option to SAFE FCU members is very exciting,” said President and CEO Michael Baker. “This agreement ensures our members have the opportunity to apply for a loan and have it deposited the minute an emergency expense comes around.”
- “CUTX is excited to begin offering the QCash life event lending platform to our membership,” said SVP/Chief Administrative Officer Angela Faust. “The platform’s ease of use and accessibility to small dollar funds can change the financial inclusion and health opportunities for our members in the communities we serve.”
- “We are excited to begin offering life event lending to our cooperative members,” said Carie Lopez, chief lending officer at Jefferson Financial. “The QCash platform’s six clicks in 60 second capability to get emergency funds to members when and where they need offers fundamental advantages to financial inclusion for our community.”
‘Financially Inclusive Path’
“QCash is excited to offer…members a more efficient and financially-inclusive path to financial health and economic inclusion,” said Seth Brickman, QCash CEO. “Members will receive the financial assistance they need, when they need it, while continuing to build loyalty and trust with their credit union.”
