40 People Graduate From CUES Governance Leadership Institute

MADISON, Wis.—CUES announced that 40 credit union board members and executives have recently completed CUES Governance Leadership Institute. All have earned the Certified Credit Union Director (CCD) designation, bringing the number of credit union executives and directors who have their CCD to 733. “Attendees of this graduate-level program learn from distinguished faculty at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto,” CUES said. “They leave the institute knowing how to balance healthy debate and diversity with consensus building. Key issues of study include strategy in the boardroom, risk management, negotiations, duty and liability, influencing change, succession planning, and communications.”
