CHICOPEE, Miss.–Alden Credit Union here said it is partnering with TMG Financial Services (TMGFS) to provide members with a full-featured rewards credit card.
The partnership with Des Moines, Iowa-based TMGFS will allow Alden to continue delivering a credit card product backed by credit union service and principles, the company said. In recent years, Alden’s credit card portfolio has grown exponentially, requiring intensive dedication of resources, according to TMGFS.
“Members expect us to make complex financial transactions simple,” said Adam D. Corcoran, Alden president and CEO. “And you don’t get more complex than today’s credit card ecosystem. From regulatory compliance and fraud management to EMV chip cards and digital wallet enrollment, it’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day operations of a credit card program. It’s a rapidly evolving and intense marketplace that requires specialized expertise. Partnering with TMGFS will provide us that expertise so our teams can focus less on running a credit card portfolio and more on continuing to provide great member experiences across all product lines.”
“Alden’s focus on ‘banking with no boundaries’ resonates with today’s consumer,” said TMGFS CEO Jon Sarvis. “People are increasingly drawn to innovative payments options that let them participate in new technologies and solutions safely and with the guidance of the credit union they know and trust. This partnership will allow Alden to take its credit card program into a new era of payments without losing sight of its strategic imperatives and drawing resources away from member service. It will allow TMGFS to work alongside a consumer-centric partner that epitomizes the credit union difference.”
