NAPERVILLE, Ill.–Alloya Corporate said it ninth annual Credit Union Executive Leadership Symposium will return to The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas Sept. 6—8.
As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to dominate the headlines, Alloya said it has created a special educational focus on the topic during the event, including an opening keynote by Allie K. Miller, an AI entrepreneur, advisor and investor who is a key thought leaders in AI.
On day two, Duncan Wardle, the former head of innovation and creativity for Disney, will “make a case for the most impactful human traits that AI won’t be able to replicate,” Alloya said. In addition, Bill Barnes, principal program manager at Microsoft, will uncover “the opportunity beyond the hype” of AI and the critical decisions that organizations will face in the near future, according to Alloya.

Meanwhile, beyond the focus on AI, the Symposium’s closing keynote, Alex Sheen, founder of the international social movement “because I said I would,” will share his insights and actionable ways to become better at fulfilling commitments.
“We are elated to return to Las Vegas for Alloya’s signature event after hosting such a successful Symposium there in 2021,” said Alloya SVP-Membership Tim Bruculere. “In keeping with the past, this year’s event is sure to deliver exceptional education, networking and experiences for our members. In addition, Alloya said a “past favorite” from its “Link” virtual education series, Jim Knight, will share practical and tactical initiatives to create an iconic business – both internally and externally.

Alloya said other features of the meeting will include:
- Alloya’s Tom Slefinger will provide his signature economic update – a “cornerstone of Alloya’s Symposium.”
- Breakout sessions will include payments, small-dollar lending and fraud.
- Attendees will also enjoy memorable networking opportunities. A reception and dinner will be held at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, with legendary views of the strip and Bellagio Fountains. “Back by popular demand, Alloya’s Football Night will take place at Black Tap, conveniently located at The Venetian Resort, for the opening night of football featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions, dinner and specialty milkshakes,” Alloya said.
Board Meeting To Be Held
In addition, Alloya said its annual board meeting will be held in conjunction with the Leadership Symposium on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 8:30 am PT. Credit union professionals are invited to attend and additional registration separate from the Leadership Symposium is not required.
