GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–CU*Answers is reporting its “Communi7y Crew,” which is made up of several employees from CU*Answers and partner CUSO Xtend, have rounded out their summer events with a back-to-school drive, in conjunction with the D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s donation center.
Staff at CU*Answers and Xtend donated a wide range of school supplies, including folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, crayons, sticky notes, highlighters, glue sticks, and much more.
According to the CUSO, the Communi7y Crew was created by the cuasterisk.com network to promote the spirit of the 7 Cooperative Principles, which are the foundation of all credit unions, taking the Live It! series from an educational campaign to a boots-on-the-ground effort to engage employees, their families, and friends in the active participation of charitable community events. The group seeks ideas through an open forum and organizes the events so that any and all can participate.
