CU*Answers’ It’s Me 247 Bill Pay Hits 100-CU Milestone, Volume Record

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–It’s Me 247 Bill Pay, a new bill payment and presentment service from CU*Answers, with payment processing by Payveris, has reached 100 clients. According to the CUSO, the new service is an alternative option to CU*Answers’ existing bill pay strategies offered to credit union clients, and is offered at a fraction of the cost.

 While other bill pay services offered provide a SSO environment, It’s Me 247 Bill Pay represents the CUSO’s first bill pay service fully integrated within online banking, creating a more cohesive digital strategy for credit unions, CU*Answers said.

“We’ve been ecstatic with the enthusiasm with which this new product has been received,” said CU*Answers EVP Scott Page. “It’s one more option credit unions have when defining their digital strategy.”

Multiple quick pay widgets were added within It’s Me 247 Online Banking to more quickly navigate, make payments, and transfer funds. Since bill pay users often represent a credit union’s most profitable members, offering another tool that enhances a member’s experience when utilizing these services adds a valued member retention component.

Separately, it’s Me 247 Online Banking from CU*Answers reported more than four-million member logins from desktop devices, the highest single month volume in its history. Combined with logins from mobile devices, It’s Me 247 had a record 6.6 million logins during the month, CU*Answers reported.

CU*Answers said it has accelerated development of its online and mobile banking platform, adding many popular new features and options for credit union clients. In 2015, My Virtual StrongBox integration was added, and then offered to clients for free by the 100% credit union-owned CUSO. In 2016, a free mobile app was offered to credit unions who met eligibility requirements.

CU*Answers also recently launched its first bill pay solution fully integrated within online banking, with payment processing by Payveris. It’s Me 247 Bill Pay began rolling out to clients in November of 2015 and has already seen over 100 credit unions sign agreements to make the switch.

“It has been a very exciting year in the development of It’s Me 247,” said Brian Maurer, VP of Software Development. “We’ve introduced many new features and services recently, and with development of APIs underway we see many digital strategy opportunities just on the horizon.”
