LAKEWOOD, Colo. – CU Service Network has officially launched its back office accounting solution, CU Works Accounting. CU Works Accounting is the second product to be introduced in the CU Works brand, which encompasses critical back office services for credit unions of all sizes.
CU Service Network has been assisting credit unions with their accounting functions since 2014, however only recently rebranded this product as part of CU Works. The service was formerly known simply as CU Service Network Accounting, the company said. Over the past three years, CU Service Network said it has helped dozens of credit unions from California to Nebraska with their accounting, providing services such as daily and monthy balancing, and even full outsourcing. A popular service is CFO in a Box, which provides strategic consulting, regulatory assistance, and forecasting.
Doug Burke, President/CEO of CU Service Network, commented, “Our accounting service is an integral part of our expanding CU Works back office solutions. We have a dedicated staff of nine employees and growing. With over 70 years of credit union accounting experience, they have the skill set to meet the ever-changing needs of our credit unions, which can range from daily processing to the more complicated CFO in a Box.”
A key differentiator for CU Works Accounting is the ability to be fully customizable. CEO Burke wrote, “We’ve found that each credit union has completely different needs when it comes to accounting. They can literally cherry-pick exactly what that want with us.”
