CUES Creates Learning Center for Board Members

CUES Launches Updated, Enhanced Version of Board Learning Center

MADISON, Wis.—CUES has launched an updated and enhanced version of its online learning center for board members. The new CUES Director Education Center features expanded courses developed by renowned governance expert Michael Daigneault, CEO & co-founder, Quantum Governance, L3C. Daigneault has more than 30 years experience helping boards.

According to CUES, five courses with 13 modules are currently available, and more are planned this fall:

  • Delegation of Board Authority to Management – two modules
  • The Role and Responsibilities of Board Committees and Task Forces – three modules
  • The Role of a Credit Union Board in Strategic Planning – three modules
  • The Role of the Board in Monitoring Performance – two modules
  • The Role of the Board in Strategic Relationships and Mergers – three modules

“Research on adult learning shows participants retain more when they are actively involved in the learning experience. We’ve made sure to include great features based on this research, including a workbook participants can use as a learning tool and a take away, voice over and closed captioning features which can be turned on and off, and new engaging visual design and infographics,” said John Pembroke, CUES’ president/CEO.
