CUProdigy Announces 3 New Hires

LAYTON, Utah –CUProdigy, a technology-focused CUSO, announced it has added three new hires to its team: two resolution specialists and an office coordinator. All three have extensive credit union backgrounds.

Susan Bagwell

Susan Bagwell serves as a resolution specialist, providing application support to CUProdigy’s core data processing software. Prior to joining CUProdigy, she worked at America First Credit Union for 5 years as a call center representative, Fedline processor and a mortgage loan processor.

Jenny Villicana was also hired to serve member credit unions as a resolution specialist. She previously worked at Wasatch Peaks Credit Union for three years as a teller and loan processor.
“We are pleased to leverage Susan and Jenny’s operations experience as they assist credit unions,” said CUProdigy CEO Anthony W. Montgomery.

“They both possess valuable skill sets that include technical aptitude, problem solving skills, communication and dedication to customer service, and will be a great addition to our team.”

Rhilee Gallegos has filled a newly created office coordinator position. She will assist CUProdigy C-suite executives and fulfill key administrative responsibilities. Prior to joining the CUSO, she worked at Wasatch Peaks Credit Union, starting as a part-time teller and expanding her duties to include new accounts, loan applications and trust applications. She is also a licensed notary.

“Rhilee is the glue that holds our organization together, and we’re happy to have her on board,” Montgomery said.

CUProdigy has increased the number of credit unions and members served by more than 100% since December 2015. In just 21⁄2 years, the CUSO has grown from serving 19 credit unions with $1.89 billion in total assets and 253,000 members, to 39 credit unions with $5.76 billion in assets and 635,000 in members. CUProdigy has added three new core processing clients so far in 2018, and in 2017, reported a 60% year-over-year increase in its cloud-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) business.
