BETTENDORF, Iowa-- Ascentra Credit Union, with 11 branches throughout the Quad City area, has become the 500th shared branch for CU Service Network (CUSN).
“Ascentra knows the importance of adding convenience for our members and future members and shared branching is one way we can be there for those traveling, college students who move away, and snowbirds,” said Ascentra President & CEO Dale Owen.
Ascentra’s gateway to shared branching is through CU Service Network (CUSN) which is a network of seven states that help make up the nation-wide shared branching network.
CUSN reported that shared branching in Iowa has grown exponentially in the past two years. By the end of the year, Iowa will have a 75% increase in shared branch locations.
