PLANO, Texas–After earlier announcing it would be expanding the content of its longstanding Economic & Payments Forum to include a broader range of topics, Catalyst Corporate said it will host The Strategic Summit from Oct. 7-9 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio.
“Credit unions have been loyal patrons of the Economic & Payments Forum for decades,” Catalyst President/CEO Bruce Fox said in a statement. “In crafting the Strategic Summit event, we knew it was critical to keep the best of what Forum had to offer, while delivering even more value to our busy members.”
Better Alignment
According to Fox, the new Strategic Summit aligns with the company’s larger branding initiative, which reflects “Catalyst’s forward-looking, resourceful approach to success in an evolving financial landscape.”
“Members have been very receptive to the new brand,” added Fox. “And our internal team members are energized by what it represents as well.”
The Headliner
Headlining the inaugural Strategic Summit is Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran, who will share insights from her extraordinary career journey.
“Despite inauspicious beginnings, including bad college grades and lots of job hopping, Corcoran’s path culminated in her status as a real estate mogul – and television star,” Catalyst said.
The Keynoters
Other Strategic Summit keynoters will include:
- Jeff Havens, business growth expert and comedian, who “will infuse his delivery of business insights with plenty of humor. Havens is a successful entrepreneur, having built a multi-million dollar training company that reaches more than 500,000 learners annually.”
- Ford Saeks, who has worked with start-ups, Fortune 500 companies (and everything in between) to generate massive growth. An entrepreneur, published author and patent-holder, Saeks will speak about the power of artificial intelligence, Catalyst said.
Other speakers will include TruStage Chief Economist Steven Rick, Fortune’s Senior Editor-at-Large Geoff Colvin, Catalyst’s own leading experts, and much more.
