BEAUMONT, Tex. – The $340-million DuGood Federal Credit Union has deployed FinancialFeed from OmniChannel Communications. FinancialFeed is a financial literacy and content marketing platform for financial institutions that continuously delivers new, original, social media-enabled content as a low-cost monthly subscription, the company said.
“Creating your own content takes an incredible amount of time and money,” said Rebecca Schexnyder, the credit union’s marketing communications specialist. “We were looking for a provider that offered professional, customizable, affordable content and we found that with FinancialFeed. We have the FinancialFeed portal on our website, but we’re also using individual articles as blog posts, as well as social media posts.”The company said its standard FinancialFeed licensing grants financial institutions non-exclusive rights to use the content outside of the FinancialFeed portal at no additional cost.“FinancialFeed has already been extremely helpful,” added Schexnyder. “We can easily customize the content and use it wherever we need to keep our members engaged.”FinancialFeed said it leverages a content delivery system developed by nationally recognized cybersecurity expert Jim Stickley, founder of Stickley on Security. The plug-and-play financial literacy portal resides entirely on the institution’s website and offers, the company said, fresh, original articles added daily, plus five basic cateoriges of content that include The Basics, Everday Living, Planning & Saving, Major Expenses, and Seasonal Spending. In addition, the company said the solution also offers:• Fully social media-enabled content for easy sharing.• The ability to customize any article, including hyperlinks to relevant pages on the institution’s website.• The ability for the institution to add its own articles to help drive sales.
