First Community CU Selects XDI

Transparent pricing wins over First Community

COQUILLE, Ore.— When First Community Credit Union’s statement processing contract was due to expire, the $1 billion, 75,000-member institution decided to go shopping. Most vendors offered convoluted pricing and overly elaborate service structures, but one company stood out as different: Xpress Data, Inc.

First Community Vice President of Risk Management Ellen Scriven said her credit union selected XDI because of the firm’s business integrity and transparent price structure. XDI openly shares its price list with prospects and uses the same pricing structure for every client.

Scriven also cited XDI’s exclusive credit union clientele, ease of implementation and affordable range of document solutions across all media types.

“We know statements and notices aren’t glamorous, but some vendors seem to go out of their way to make them confusing,” XDI President Mike Cooper said. “We try to keep it simple. In fact, in the past decade, we’ve only changed our statement prices twice – and that was to lower them! We’re honored that First Community Credit Union recognizes our unique value proposition.”
