Fiserv PopMoney To Accept Donations for CARE
BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Fiserv announced that international humanitarian organization, CARE, will soon accept donations via the Popmoney personal payment service. CARE will be one of the first organizations to accept donations through the Popmoney payment button on its website. People will also be able to make online or mobile donations via the network of more than 2,400 financial institutions that offer Popmoney and at Popmoney.com, the company said.
Popmoney Charitable Giving allows consumers to donate to charities directly from their online or mobile banking account. This means it’s easier than ever for people to donate to the charities of their choice. Information is kept secure throughout the entire transaction process using industry-leading technology, according to Fiserv.
Fiserv added that Popmoney offers a convenient, cost-effective way to accept donations. Contributions received using Popmoney are more convenient to process than checks, and more cost-effective than card payments. This can reduce the overall cost of fundraising, an important consideration for any charity.
Popmoney is offered at Popmoney.com, through apps for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone, as well as through the online or mobile banking sites of more than 2,400 financial institutions.
