AUSTIN, Texas – Fort Community CU is introducing the BuzzPoints “bank local/shop local” rewards program to its members. The Fort Atkinson, Wis.-based credit union is updating its Malauzai SmartApp that is integrated with the Buzz Points localized rewards program, providing providing members access to their Buzz Points account directly in the mobile banking app.
With the latest update of the SmartApp, FCCU members can easily view their Buzz Points balance and available offers directly in the mobile banking app instead of accessing a separate app or website. The $205 million-FCCU leverages Buzz Points as a free feature that awards members points for all debit card purchases and other financial activities. Members earn four times the points when shopping local. The points are worth more when redeemed for gift cards from participating local businesses.
