Inspire FCU Selects NYMBUS For Core

MIAMI –NYMBUS announced Inspire Federal Credit Union has selected NYMBUS to support its growth as it transitions from a legacy core provider to NYMBUS’ full suite of advanced core, digital, and payments solutions.

“In order to deliver the enhanced experience and competitive, digital financial products our members ask for, it was clear our legacy core was setting us up to fail,” said Jim Merrill, President/CEO of Inspire Federal Credit Union. “Its inflexibility required us to engage with too many different vendors, leading to a host of workflow issues and member experience challenges.”

Formerly known as Bucks First Federal Credit Union, Inspire is a progressive financial institution with $165 million in assets that has been serving the needs of the community since 1936. Under the direction of Merrill, the credit union has pursued a focused and aggressive approach to relationship-based banking and now serves over 15,000 members. Replacing its legacy core with NYMBUS will help further transform the way Inspire reaches and serves its expanding membership, while yielding significant increases in employee productivity and operational savings.

“Inspire will eliminate 15 technology vendors after we convert to NYMBUS,” Merrill added. “And, we will deliver a much more intuitive user experience to better

NYMBUS said its digital-first product suite is built with an open architecture and flexible application programming interfaces (APIs), which will allow Inspire to rapidly offer new products and services to market.

“Today’s financial institutions risk extinction if they don’t adapt to the disruption of digital innovation,” said NYMBUS President David Mitchell. “Inspire has recognized the scale of this disruption and embraced a digital-first view of banking. We are incredibly excited to help Inspire transform its operation, which will ultimately lead to greater growth."
