MIAMI –NYMBUS, which provides core banking solutions, announced it has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 examination for its flagship SmartCore and SmartDigital platforms. Conducted by data security compliance leader 360 Advanced, Inc., this rigorous audit and certification attests to NYMBUS’ high security protocol and effective compliance with today’s stringent regulatory environment, the company said.
“NYMBUS is committed to bringing financial institutions the most advanced, modern digital-first banking technologies,” said David Mitchell, president of NYMBUS, in a statement. “For the growing number of banks and credit unions converting to our private cloud solutions, SOC 2 Type 1 certification demonstrates NYMBUS’ further commitment as a trusted partner dedicated to meet our clients’ very highest quality and security requirements.”
The SOC 2, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is a widely recognized and trusted industry standard that provides service organizations independent validation about the design and operation of internal controls.
With a focus on security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy, NYMBUS said the certification assures financial institutions operating on its core and digital banking platforms maintain the tightest controls for data safety.
NYMBUS said its SmartCore leverages a powerful, scalable enterprise cloud platform to provide financial institutions with a holistic, turnkey core banking platform. SmartCore compliments NYMBUS SmartDigital for Internet and mobile banking, the company added.
