NewGround White Paper Takes Deep Dive into Knowledge Pyramid

CHESTERFIELD, Mo.–NewGround has released a new white paper that it says offers a deep dive into the “Data-Information-Knowledge-Wisdom” hierarchy, also known as the Knowledge Pyramid, and how it can be applied to gain knowledge, develop targeted personae, and transform organizations for improved business results.

Written by William G. Dean, VP-business administration with NewGround, the paper’s purpose is to “briefly examine the Knowledge Pyramid and apply its key attributes to persona development that might allow for business transformation in organizations focused on shared behaviors for product or service delivery,” writes Dean.

“Particularly, service organizations using data and information to create personae of both consumer characteristics and cultural applications might be used to better identify with individuals different than themselves, yet capable of being identified through a created, theoretical set of defined consumer attributes,” he added.

The paper explores a number of ways organizations can improve processes, including by asking better questions.
