WASHINGTON– OAS Staff Federal Credit Union here is converting to EPL’s open-core system, i-POWER.
EPL said its i-POWER solution is built to accommodate a high level of customization and integration, and will empower OAS to connect more deeply with members in targeted segments across the globe.
The $201-million OAS FCU, chartered to serve the Organization of American States, has 6,494 members.
“At EPL, we derive our passion from identifying growth opportunities for our customers, and providing innovative, emerging technology solutions that transform this untapped potential into increased revenue and membership expansion,” said Robin Kolvek, CEO at EPL. “We look forward to helping OAS systematically enhance their business model, increase operational efficiencies and leverage member data into meaningful decision-making that improves their bottom line.”
After a majority investment in 2015 by Dedagroup, a global provider of software solutions to enterprises and financial institutions, EPL said it is well-positioned to support OAS and its members, 40% of whom reside internationally.
“We are excited to select EPL's i-POWER as OAS’ future financial core platform; a decision which will enable us to offer a more member-centric model that meets member expectations and demands,” said Carlos Calderon, CEO at OAS. “EPL will allow us to continue to expand in the United States and abroad in a safe, innovative and compliant manner by providing a flexible, efficient and integrated platform – streamlining our member experience through seamless implementation of third-party services and solutions. We look forward to years of fruitful and positive experiences working with our new partner,” Calderon added.
Additionally, EPL announced it has finalized core-conversion agreements with Churchill County Federal Credit Union in Nevada (2,360 members and $46 million in assets) and Helco Federal Credit Union in Hawaii (1,759 members and $41 million in assets), and signed three multi-year, core-renewal agreements with Zia Credit Union, Palace City Federal Credit Union and Pueblo Government Agencies Federal Credit Union.
