PORT NECHES, Texas–Neches FCU here has broken ground on a new main office building. The project is being overseen by Chesterfield, Mo.-based architecture, design and delivery firm NewGround.
The new two-story 49,313 square foot space will feature a state-of-the-art contact center with multiple conference rooms, along with a hard and soft training room. Hoteling offices, quiet rooms, and a mothers’ room will also be near the contact center, according to the company.
In addition to a café-style employee break room, the building will include a fitness center and covered patio to provide employees with areas for a “place to recharge.”
NewGround said the headquarters will house a small, automated branch. Part of the long-term vision and planning is to allow for Neches FCU’s future expansion plans to build a second two-story 50,000 square foot addition to their main office.
NewGround said the services it is providing for the project includes long-term personnel and space projections, architecture and interior design, project development, and construction management.
