SAN ANTONIO – SWBC, an international financial services company providing a wide range of insurance, mortgage and investment services to individuals, business and financial institutions, today announced that its financial institution group has promoted Jason O’Brien to senior vice president of payments.
In this role, Jason fosters strong relationships with existing Electronic Cash Management customers and ensures their operational needs are being met. He also leads the introduction of new products that address the growing consumer demands being placed upon financial institutions. Previously, Jason served as director of technology strategies for the financial institution group.
“Jason has been an invaluable asset to our company for more than 15 years,” said Brad Young, chief operating officer at SWBC Financial Institution Group. “His extensive knowledge in technology commercialization, product development, customer engagement and project management will assist in propelling the financial institution group into a new realm of payment services.”
Jason graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. He also received a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin.
