TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Pod, which focuses solely on credit union marketing, is celebrating its 10thanniversary as an agency.
Pod reported it has over that time helped clients maximize their brand impact through a range of creative services such as rebranding, campaign development, media production, website design, automated marketing, digital advertising, and more.
“Back in 2011, when I decided to leave First Commerce Credit Union to start my own business, I’m pretty sure people questioned my sanity,” said CEO and founder Samantha Strickland. “But it felt like the right point in my career to take a leap of faith, and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished with our clients over the past 10 years. We are inspired daily by working with “the good guys.”
The Pod said it has built a reputation for industry expertise and strategically-oriented creative execution. The agency also said it has been fortunate to recruit top talent from the credit union community, and that collectively the team has more than 80 years of credit union marketing experience.
The Pod noted it has also leveraged the talent available from two major universities that are neighbors.
A ‘Deeper Level’
“The Pod gets to know clients at a deeper level. They build a story by paying homage to the past with an eye to the future so that everything works in harmony,” said Mike Akers, CEO of Bay Credit Union, who has worked with the Pod for nine years. He even brought The Pod team along with him when he was selected as CEO at two different credit unions.
The Pod reported it has worked with credit unions of all sizes and in all parts of the country, as well as credit union service providers. In 2013, The Pod won an Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences - Suncoast Chapter for a brand video the team created for Community South Credit Union. Throughout the decade, clients have been recognized annually by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council’s Diamond Awards, the agency said.
