TransCentraMarks 30th Anniversary

NORCROSS, Ga. – TransCentra, a provider of billing and payment software and services, is marking its 30th anniversary in bill printing and remittance processing. TransCentra was formed when global information technology company, 3i Infotech, which owned Napa Valley, Calif.-based Regulus and Blue Bell, Penn.-based J&B Software, sold the two entities in 2011.

J&B Software had been providing payment processing, imaging, document management and capture solutions for businesses worldwide since 1984. Regulus Group LLC was formed in 1996 as a national remittance processing company and added print and billing services in the early 2000s by purchasing Quantum and Accudocs. Each year the company processes nearly two-billion transactions, producing more than 300 million bills and processing 500 million. It also composes and produces over 700 million statement images and presents in excess of 28 million electronic statements annually.
