Two CUs’ New Branch Projects Being Led by La Macchia Group

MILWAUKEE –La Macchia Group has started construction on what it described as “state-of-the art branches” for two credit unions.

In Pace, Fla.,  Eglin FCU is building a 4,695-square-foot location that will serve as a prototype for the credit union’s entire branch network, according to the company. The design integrates integrated teller machine (ITM) technology and balances high-tech with high-touch, ensuring members can be served when and how they prefer.

Members will have 24-hour access to both drive-up ITMs and interactive touch screens located in the branch’s vestibule.

“We have multiple current projects in the works with Eglin Federal Credit Union,” said Dave Throndson, senior vice president of sales at La Macchia Group. “From planning, designing and building a new, state-of-the-art headquarters building and developing smaller-scale, ITM-equipped branches, in this latest branch project, we are proud to play a role in helping Eglin Federal Credit Union expand its branch network.”

A New Brand, A New Branch

Separately, in Chester, Va., Home Base Credit Union is building a new 2,400-square-foot office that  will include a two-lane drive up, with each drive-up lane containing an integrated teller machine. Inside, the lobby will contain two teller stations, a resource center, and a self-serve coin counter.

“Home Base Credit Union has recently rolled out a new brand and wanted to see it brought to life through its new physical space,” said David Welsh, vice president of business development at La Macchia Group. “For Home Base, the focus is full-service. This new branch will ensure members are able to engage in the way that best meets their needs.”
