ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.–PSCU said that Chris Shockley, President and CEO of Virginia Credit Union in Richmond, has been named an Associate Director to its board.
“We are anxious to welcome Chris to the PSCU Board,” said Jeff March, President and CEO of Citadel CU in Pennsylvania, and PSCU Board Chair. “As an experienced leader of an established and progressive credit union and an active participant in the credit union and payments communities, we know Chris will contribute valuable insights to the successful governance of the PSCU cooperative.”
Shockley joined Virginia Credit Union in 2003 following a 14-year career in retail banking in Virginia and North Carolina. Along with running the largest state-chartered credit union in Virginia, Chris’s community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for Leadership Metro Richmond, chairing the board of directors for the Swift Creek YMCA and serving on the board of trustees for the Virginia and West Virginia MS Society.
