PLANO, Texas—Catalyst Corporate is reporting that since launch of its mobile deposit capture solution in 2013, more than 50 credit unions have signed on and their 30,000 respective members have deposited more than 500,000 checks in just the first 10 months of 2014.
Catalyst Corporate reported that another 20 credit unions are in the pipeline to add its mobile deposit solution for their members.
Catalyst Corporate said its Mobile Capture service fully integrates with all other Catalyst Corporate remote deposit services.
“This integration provides benefits such as duplicate detection across channels and efficient administration,” said Brad Ganey, chief operating officer of Catalyst Corporate.
Catalyst Corporate said growth of remote deposit capture will only continue, pointing to a recent study by Zogby Analystics that found of 1,000 millennials surveyed, almost 90% said they would be willing to use the service, and 34% already had.
