TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.––4Front Credit Union’s 4Front Foundation continues to provide community support.
The Foundation aids nonprofits in providing services to the community and supports education through scholarship and financial literacy programs. The Foundation also works to create innovative programs for our members while increasing our outreach and impact in the community, the credit union said.
“4Front has contributed more than $700,000 in community investment since our inception in 2015 and we’re extremely proud of that,” said 4Front Foundation Executive Director RachelHunter. “We’re always looking at how we can do more to help our communities and establishingthe foundation will allow us to do just that.”
The Foundation focuses on three pillars of giving: scholarships, financial wellness, and grants. It will operate as a separate entity from 4Front Credit Union and in addition to the credit union’s current community investment program.
“The neat thing about the foundation is that other organizations, businesses, members and our own team members will have the opportunity to give back with us, so it’s a chance for others toinvest in their communities as well,” said Hunter.
Organizers plan to hold several fundraisers for the Foundation in 2022 with a goal of awarding thosedollars in 2023.
