A Boost For Food Pantries

ROCHESTER, N.H.– Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) and Bernier Insurance Inc. wrapped up their 7th Annual Food & Hygiene Drive by donating 15 cases of non-perishable items to local food pantries to support Thanksgiving holiday distributions.

“Supporting those in our community who are less fortunate is something we take pride in - especially during the holidays,” said Brian Hughes, HRCU President and CEO. “The Food & Hygiene Drive has become an annual tradition to help stock our local food pantries before their busy season.”

Throughout November, donations were collected at HRCU branch locations in Rochester, Farmington and Dover, as well as at Bernier Insurance Inc. in Rochester.  Items stayed within the community where they were collected, with donations going to Gerry’s Emergency Food Pantry in Rochester, Strafford County CAP Outreach Food Pantry #52 in Farmington, and Strafford County CAP Outreach Food Pantry #21 in Dover.
