EAST WENATCHEE, Wash.—A tall Norway Maple at Numerica Credit Union’s branch here has been replaced after it was found to be dying.
Because of both member and employee fondness for the tree, including some members reminiscing about playing around or swinging on the tree back when the land was a farm, a team of Numerica volunteers from the branch worked with the Eastmont Metro Parks and Recreation Dept. to plant a Ginkgo Biloba tree at local Tedford Park.
