FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Financial Advisor Kristina Meyers of Addison Avenue Investment Services received the 2016 Woman of Distinction Award during Raymond James’ 22nd annual Women’s Symposium, held in Orlando.
The prestigious award is presented to Raymond James advisors who support the professional growth of other advisors and service associates, and who are actively involved in their communities. Meyers was recognized for her contributions to others in her industry and her admirable work within her community.
As a successful financial advisor with RJFS and Addison Avenue Investment Services, the investment services division of First Tech Federal Credit Union, Meyers mentors a junior advisor, runs a thriving self-storage business, and volunteers in her community, all while raising a family. After being “matched” as a bone marrow donor two years ago, she became involved with Be The Match, a global organization and leader in bone marrow transplantation. She is also involved with Realities For Children, a local charitable organization dedicated to supporting the unmet needs of children who have been abused, neglected, or are at risk.
“Kristina is deeply devoted to her career, family, and community, and she makes a positive difference in her clients’ lives as well as the communities she serves,” Addison Avenue Investment Services President Scott Jenner said. “She is an excellent example of a true professional leader and pillar in her community, and we could not be more excited for her to be recognized with this impressive award.”
Meyers started her career in 2005 as a Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, before joining Addison Avenue Investment Services’ Northern Colorado team the following year. As a Cum Laude graduate of Regis University, she holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Business.
