ORLANDO, Fla. –In fall commencement remarks to graduates of the University of Central Florida, Addition Financial CU President and CEO Kevin Miller stressed, “Having a plan is not nearly as important as being prepared.”
The ceremony took place inside Addition Financial Arena on the university’s campus to graduates of the College of Business, College of Engineering and College of Computer Science, and the College of Optics and Photonics.
Miller highlighted the affection of education and community shared by UCF, their alumni, and Addition Financial. He also shared life stories and lessons from his college years, all the way to his unique path to leading the credit union, the credit union said.
“You may not know it today, but the experiences and education you received in becoming a Knight is preparing you for challenges that you do not even know are in front of you,” Miller said. “Be prepared to adapt and embrace where your circumstances take you. Embrace your circumstances. Embrace your life path.”
