Advia CU Backs Full Habitat Home Build In Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich.—Advia Credit Union said it is expanding its partnership with Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity by sponsoring the construction of a full home, underscoring the credit union’s continued focus on addressing housing insecurity in the communities it serves.

The credit union said the project builds on years of support for Habitat initiatives in the Battle Creek area, where Advia has contributed through volunteerism, sponsorships and charitable giving, including past efforts tied to housing projects benefiting women and veterans. Construction on the new home is expected to begin this spring and be completed in 2026, with Advia team members volunteering on site throughout the build.

“A stable home is the foundation for financial security, opportunity, and long-term stability,” President and CEO Jeff Fielder said in a statement. He added the project aligns with Advia’s mission to provide financial advantages and reflects the credit union’s broader community impact efforts.

Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity said the commitment of funding and volunteers sends a strong signal about the need for affordable housing in southwest Michigan. Executive Director Mike King said Advia is showing the community “that they care about housing needs and are willing to work toward meeting those needs.”
