COLLEGE STATION, Texas– – Aggieland Credit Union awarded Julie Kircher, currently a Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences PhD student at Texas A&M University, with a $5,000 check.
Kircher is the second winner of the Aggieland Credit Union Tuition Takedown Giveaway. Applicants qualified with a completed online entry form, a checking account and enrollment in e-statements with the credit union. Additional entries were also gained each time the applicant used their debit card during the promotional period.
"This is very exciting,” said Kircher. “As a poor PHD student, this will go to good use, I didn’t think I would win.”
Kircher’s parents and sister are all Texas A&M Alumni, and she herself has received her Bachelor’s degree ’14, her Master’s, and is working to complete her PhD by 2022, all from Texas A&M University, with a goal to one day teach.
