Allegacy FCU Partners With Greensboro Swarm to Raise Funds

GREENSBORO, N.C.–Allegacy Federal Credit Union recently partnered with The Greensboro Swarm for the team’s first-ever theme jersey night and auction, with funds and awareness benefiting Susan G. Komen Northwest North Carolina.

The organizations raised $4,029 from attendees at the game.

In addition to recognizing Allegacy’s impactful community endeavors in the Triad, the sellout game celebrated local breast cancer survivors and advocates, the credit union said. The evening was highlighted by the auction and presentation of the player’s unique pink jerseys that were customized with the Swarm, Allegacy and Susan G. Komen NWNC logos. Veteran player Damien Wilkins’ jersey went for the highest bid of the evening, raising $700 towards the grand total.
