Allied FCU Helps With Letters to Santa

ARLINGTON, Texas–Allied Federal Credit Union members spent the early holiday season writing “Letters to Santa,” which they dropped off at the credit union’s branches.

In the letters, members requested a gift they wanted for Christmas. Credit union staff then selected one letter from each branch and granted that member’s holiday wish. This initiative focused on allowing the credit union to give back to its members who give AlliedFCU so much throughout the year.

“The holidays are called a season of giving for a reason,” said CEO Tonia Clark. “Our members have given us their time and trust all year, so we wanted to give something back to them. With ‘Letters to Santa,’ we got to do that, and we got to do it in a fun way many people haven’t seen since they were kids.”

“Letters to Santa” was a success. A member at AlliedFCU’s Green Oaks Office received a $300 Walmart gift card, while a member at the credit union’s Mansfield branch got a $300 Amazon gift card. Allied’s Sanford location gave a stand up walker to a lucky member as well.
