LA CROSSE, Wis. – Altra Credit Union’s Altra Foundation awarded two Financial Education college scholarships of $5,000 each.
To be eligible, applicants needed to complete various modules through their partnered Banzai program, which is offered on Altra’s website or through teacher’s classrooms. Applicants did not need to be members of Altra Federal Credit Union to participate or win.
“Because we had such a high turnout our first year, we decided to give two scholarships this year,” said Danielle Anderson, youth strategies manager. “The Banzai! program has received several compliments from students over the years that have completed the modules and students highly recommend it to their friends”.
The Altra Foundation selected Caeli McMahon from Melrose-Mindoro High School and Olivia Gardner from Cotter High School for the scholarships.
