RIVERSIDE, Calif.–– A team of 20 walkers from Altura Credit Union recently participated in “The Pink on Parade Walk” in Riverside to raise awareness of breast cancer and the need for early diagnosis.
The team, led by Altura staffers Denise Hunt and Katherine Gonzalez, raised nearly $2,600. All funds stay local, going to The Pink Ribbon Place, Riverside’s only breast cancer resource center. The center assists more than 1,000 families a year with its programs and services.
