ROME, N.Y. AmeriCU Credit Union has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State for the seventh year.
Created in 2007, the annual awards aim to identify and celebrate employers who go above and beyond in creating a supportive, diverse, and fulfilling workplace culture for their employees. By recognizing the policies, practices, and employee experiences of these companies, the award honors those organizations who are dedicated and committed to their employees, according to the CU.
AmeriCU was recognized at a ceremony in Albany, where it was announced that the credit union ranked amongst the top 20 in the Large Companies category.
“Our teammates are the heart of the credit union, so as an organization we strive to connect, involve, and support them,” said Karen LaPlante, chief talent officer for AmeriCU. “To be recognized for this award is a true honor and testament to the hard work and dedication of our team who play a critical role in accomplishing our vision, mission, and strategy, and for that we want to thank them for their amazing efforts.”
AmeriCU was previously recognized for its excellence in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2018, 2016, and 2014.
