LAS VEGAS–As part of its Greater Good Project, America First Credit visited Gibson Middle School to promote financial literacy in Las Vegas. America First employees led 12 classes, a total of 383 students, in playing the “bean game.”
The game encouraged students to create a spending plan, with the underlying message of assisting with money management. The numerous benefits of this game included tracking income and expenses, giving students the opportunity to understand where their “money” was going, helping them meet financial goals and teaching them to live within their established income, the credit union said.
