America First Helps Middle School, Opens New Branch

RIVERDALE, Utah–America First Credit Union played a crucial role for the students of Gibson Middle School during its back-to-school backpack and school supply drive.

Employees donated a generous amount of school supplies in preparation for the 2015 – 2016 school year, with more than 33 backpacks, 26 binders, 73 folders, 127 spiral notebooks, 76 boxes of pencils, 27 packages of pens and many other items for the underprivileged children at Gibson Middle School.

Separately, America First CU hosted a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony at its newest location at 5438 West 13400 South in Herriman, Utah. In line with the credit union’s continued growth, Herriman is the third location to open thus far in 2015 and the 112th location for the credit union servicing Utah and Southern Nevada.

Events included account promotions and certificates, coloring contests for kids, Visa gift card drawings, giveaways for adults and children and the grand prize drawing of an Apple watch.
