GLENDORA, Calif. — Leading up to the second annual Patriot Week, hosted by America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU) and Project Glendora Yellow Ribbon (PGYR), ACCU made a commitment to donate $10 to The Vet Hunters Project for every new account opened during Patriot Week.
As a result, ACCU was excited and honored to present a check of $1,200 to the Vet Hunters.
Patriot Week is an annual event dedicated to honoring local heroes, veterans, and men and women of the United States military who put their lives at risk for our freedom. Several community groups and residents joined ACCU throughout the week to help express their continued support and gratitude.
Kevin George and Joe Leal from the Vet Hunters Project were present throughout the week in support of our Nation’s Heroes. The Vet Hunters dedicate their work to preventing and ending homelessness for all military veterans.
