EAST HARTFORD, Conn.–American Eagle Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Allison Burch as Director, and Michael Rogers as Associate Director, to three year terms on the Credit Union’s Board of Directors.
Allison Burch joined the Credit Union as a volunteer in 2009. She has served as an Associate Director since 2012, and is currently Chair of the Supervisory Committee. Allison is a Transportation Engineer in the Asset Management Group at the Connecticut Department of Transportation, where she has worked since 2005. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut and is a licensed Professional Engineer. A resident of Simsbury, Connecticut, Allison joined the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in 2005 and began serving as President of the organization in January 2017.
Michael Rogers joined the Credit Union as a volunteer in 2010 serving on the Marketing Committee for five years before moving to the Supervisory Committee in 2016. Mike is currently the Managing Director for the National Accounts Northeast Region at the Travelers Companies in Hartford, CT. His career at the Travelers spans over 27 years covering territories in CT, MA, NY, and Canada. He previously held supervisory positions with General Motors before joining Travelers in 1990. Mike holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Bryant University, where he remains involved with Bryant University’s Alumnae Association. Mike resides in Glastonbury, CT.
“Allison and Michael bring quality years of business, finance, and technology experience to the Credit Union board,” said Credit Union President & CEO Dean Marchessault. “I know they will work with our entire board to help guide the Credit Union on behalf of the membership,” added Marchessault.
