American Eagle Financial Supports Project Graduation

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – American Eagle Financial Credit Union awarded the graduating class of 2018 at 13 high schools with a $250 contribution to each of the school’s Project Graduation Program, totaling $3,250.

The schools included Bloomfield, Cromwell, East Hampton, Manchester, East Catholic, Plainville, RHAM, Southington, South Windsor, Tolland, Vernon/Rockville, and West Hartford (Conard and Hall).

“The credit union is a long-time supporter of Project Graduation initiatives and an advocate of financial education for young adults,” said President & CEO Dean Marchessault. “We congratulate the Senior Class of 2018 and send our best wishes as they embark on college and enter the workforce,” added Marchessault.

KISS 95.7 FM held a live radio remote with DJ Jagger to promote financial literacy at the CU’s South Windsor branch. This was the culmination of “Graduation Week” in which students could bring a copy of their diploma to any AEFCU branch and get $50 into a new or existing Checking account. A $25 Graduation Gift offer is ongoing for Class of 2018 high school and college graduates.
