AUSTIN, Texas – Amplify Credit Union has promoted Kristin Keller and JC San Pedro to Senior Vice Presidents.
In their new roles, Keller and San Pedro will join Amplify’s senior executive team, Keller as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Lending and San Pedro as Senior Vice President of Loan Administration.
Five years ago, Amplify originated approximately $100M in mortgage loans per year and did not service loans for other financial institutions. Today, the credit union originates more than $1B per year in mortgage loans and services a portfolio of more than $1B for 75+ loan investors. At the same time, Amplify loans are delivering industry-leading performance, with overall delinquencies far below industry averages.
Amplify Chief Executive Officer Kendall Garrison explained, “We’ve seen exponential growth in mortgage lending and loan servicing, and that’s a direct result of leadership by Kristin and JC. Most importantly, they’ve delivered that growth with quality. That includes quickly scaling our teams to navigate the biggest refinance boom in mortgage history while helping our borrowers with an unprecedented number of deferrals and forbearances in 2020.”
“Not only did we survive those challenging times, we came out stronger with a more competitive product set and a team equipped to deliver exceptional service for our borrowers and loan investors,” Garrison added. “The teams JC and Kristin lead made that possible, and we’re excited to include their voices among those on our senior leadership team.”
Keller joined Amplify in 2013 as the Assistant Vice President of Real Estate Operations. During her tenure at Amplify, she has overseen a 5x increase in the size of Amplify’s real estate team and a 10x increase in total loan originations. In addition, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas CUREN, which is a member organization of credit union real estate lending professionals in Texas.
