COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– AventaCares, the charitable Foundation of Aventa Credit Union, delivered toys, clothing, and holiday dinners to families in need as part of their Christmas for Kids program. Six families were selected and represented each of Aventa’s service areas: Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Center, Crestone and Saguache. Each family selected had undergone financial hardships in the 2015 calendar year and were members of Aventa Credit Union.
Each family was truly grateful and touched by the support AventaCares provided them during the holiday season.
“It is incredible to see the impact we made in the lives of these six families. To know that we helped them in what would have been an otherwise hard time of year and seeing their smiling faces, is what makes our Christmas for Kids program so special, ” said Julie Gwisdalla, AventaCares Foundation Board member.
