HANOVER, Mass.— Bridgewater Credit Union (BCU), a division of Merrimack Valley Credit Union, has named the winner of its tropical cruise giveaway.
The giveaway was part of a grand opening celebration for the credit union’s new branch located at 1095 Washington Street (RT 53) in Hanover. The wommer was Susan Morrison of Hanover, Mass.
To enter, Hanover residents could visit the branch in-person or send their entry via mail. Morrison was randomly selected from a pool of 86 entries and has won a Bermuda Cruise for four, valued at $3,500.
Although she was not a member of BCU at the time, Morrison attended the grand opening event and enjoyed the live music and food trucks, the credit union said.
While there, she chatted about her banking needs with Hanover Branch Manager Marcello DiVincenzo and subsequently joined the credit union.
“[Susan] was extremely happy that she won and we are proud to not only give her this awesome prize but to welcome her into our credit union family,” said DiVincenzo. “We are excited to continue giving back to our new Hanover community.”
